Fly Fishing Trips and Guides in Colorado

Orvis-Endorsed fly fishing on private sections of the Fraser River as well as private waters on the C Lazy U Guest Ranch.

Due to the East Troublesome Fire that occurred in Oct. of 2020 the ranch anticipates there may be periodic impacts to Fly Fishing from time to time. This may occur on Willow Creek (on ranch) and sections of the Colorado River that are leased by C Lazy U for Guided Fishing (off ranch) following heavy rains. These weather events can cause flash flooding where silt and debris enter the water upstream impacting the fishing conditions. Please feel free to reach out to the ranch directly to get more information related to current conditions.

The sun dips behind the Rocky Mountains, horses graze in the distance, the campfire crackles to life, and from the kitchen, the scent of rosemary, seared elk, and chocolatey richness begins to drift through the air. At C Lazy U Ranch, dinnertime is a highlight of the day, and not just because guests have worked…

From the Horse's Mouth

The beautiful bar and the friendliness (and amazing memory) of the primary bartender, Trent, made the experience like having an evening drink with your family. When you can walk into a bar, just chatting with a new friend for a few minutes, and the bartender walks over and doesn't say "What'll ya have?" but instead smiles like he means it, then calls you by name as he hands you your drink – that's special. It makes you feel like you're part of the C Lazy U family.
