Maybe one of you heads out for a more advanced trail ride while the other spends the afternoon at The Hideaway, our adults-only wellness area with a sauna and hot tub. The Evergreen Lodge
Looking for something brand new? The Evergreen Lodge is now booking, and it’s the largest, most appointed accommodation on the ranch.
The Evergreen Lodge is made up of four individual private cabins across two floors, each with its own en-suite bathroom, fireplace, and private deck with panoramic ranch views. For couples, a single cabin offers an intimate, self-contained stay with everything you need. If you want more room to spread out, a full level can be rented as a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite with a grand connecting living room, kitchenette, and generous seating areas at nearly 1,800 square feet of space that still feels warm rather than oversized.
Situated about 200 feet from the main lodge, it’s never far from the action and private enough to feel entirely your own.

Beyond that, the ranch offers a full schedule of activities, along with all the equipment you’ll need to take part. There’s no need to plan each moment in advance or worry about added costs along the way. Spa services and select premium experiences are available as add-ons, but the core of your stay is complete from the moment you arrive.
Adults-Only Getaway Events
C Lazy U strategically schedules adults-only periods throughout the year, giving couples dedicated windows to experience the ranch at its quietest and most intimate. Timing your visit around these seasons makes a real difference.
Spring and fall are when the ranch naturally draws a more adult crowd. Think May through early June and late August through October, outside of Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Fall Break weekends. Groups are smaller, trails are less busy, and the pace feels genuinely unhurried. November through April offers that same energy, with the added backdrop of snow-covered peaks and long evenings by the fire.
Summer is a wonderful time to visit as a couple too, with the understanding that families are on property. The 8,500 acres give everyone plenty of room to find their own corner of the ranch.

We had a cozy stay in November. The ranch was covered in fresh snow and it made all the wood fire places incredibly cozy and the lounges, game room and hot tub even more comfortable to relax in. The staff here are incredibly nice and very helpful. They also have an amazing chef who will make you anything you can request, and they have a large wine selection and a fully stocked bar and mixologist. I also recommend this place if you love horses. There are nearly 200 horses and they ring a bell when they let the horses in and out of the pastures. This is a place for retreats, couples, and families.
Whether it’s for a couples outing or group outing you could not ask for a better location, quality of ranch staff, variety of activities and overall service!

Do we need horseback riding experience?
Not at all. Many couples visit with little to no riding experience. Our highly experienced wrangler team matches you with a horse suited to your comfort level as well as your personality, and will provide you with all the instruction and assistance you need.
Is C Lazy U adults-only year-round?
While the ranch welcomes families year-round, certain seasons naturally draw a quieter, more adult-focused crowd. Contact our team and we can help you find the right window for your trip.
How private does the experience feel?
