Travel Agents & Meeting Planners

Travel Agent / Meeting Planner Commission Policy:

C Lazy U Ranch values its partnerships with travel agents and meeting planners. We are pleased to offer a 10% commission on new client bookings, provided that the agent or planner is actively involved throughout the booking process.

Commission Eligibility & Guidelines

  • Commissions are processed after the guest has completed their stay.
  • The travel agent or meeting planner must be the first point of contact when booking on behalf of the client.
  • Commission is calculated based on lodging package ratesexcluding the daily food allocation.
  • The daily food allocation, incidentals, taxes, and resort fees are not commissionable.
  • The agent or planner must initiate the booking and remain involved from the initial inquiry through final confirmation to qualify.
  • Travel agents and meeting planners must provide a valid IATA number and their client affiliation at the time of booking.
  • Commissions are not paid on canceled bookings.

Rebooking Policy

A repeat visit or a rebooking will receive a 5% commission.  To qualify for a rebooking commission the travel agent or meeting planner must represent the client at the time of initial booking and rebooking and the travel agent / meeting planner must continue to manage the reservation for their client from beginning to end.  No retroactive commissions will be paid that do not follow these guidelines.

  • Rebooking requests need to be completed by filling out the Rebooking Form, by calling reservations at 970-887-3344, or emailing info@clazyu.com
  • If the reservations department does not receive a rebooking form or other aforementioned rebooking correspondence, the ranch will release your client’s respective cabin 14 days following checkout.
  • By filling out the rebooking form, we will automatically reserve the same cabin your client had for the current year for the following year.
  • Cabins will only be held by remitting a NON-REFUNDABLE 10% deposit which will be invoiced following your client’s stay and must be paid within 14 days of invoice receipt.
  • If you or your client do not respond to the deposit request by the deadline date your client’s cabin will be released for resale.

Travel agent and meeting planner commissions will be paid within 30 days of the conclusion of their client’s stay.  The commission will be calculated on the base rate, less the food portion of the rate, and commissions are not paid on incidentals, tax, resort fee etc.

Ranch Blog

Out in the untamed West, skill and precision meant the difference between survival and surrender. Ranchers, cowboys, and frontiersmen honed their marksmanship by tracking fast-moving targets across open plains. At C Lazy U Ranch, you can step into that legacy, gun in hand, and take your shot at an experience straight out of the Old…

From the Horse's Mouth

I participated in the Julie Goodnight Clinic and loved every single minute. As a fairly new rider, I was worried that I would get overwhelmed or feel left behind, but instead I learned so much from instructors and participants. This experience was well beyond my expectations. I seriously have no complaints about course structure or content. I've already been using some of the skills I learned and my horses and I are more connected and I can tell my riding has improved 10x. Just can't say enough good things about Julie and her team. If the sessions were spread out to 5 days, I would be onboard because it was pretty intense (although I think it was exactly what I needed as a newer rider).
