We’re pleased to share a feature story showcasing C Lazy U’s Find Your Inner Cowgirl retreat, written by the Kitsap Sun opinion columnist Niran Al-Agba. In the piece, “Meeting my inner cowgirl, and finding out how quiet she can be,“ Niran describes her experience attending the event, from the yoga and meditation sessions to the groundwork exercises and trail riding with her assigned horse, Oliver. She shares how the retreat led her to finding inner solitude and that she could not have imagined a better gift for Mother’s Day.

We are pleased to share broadcast coverage of C Lazy U’s partnership with Locke + Co. Last week, Denver7 reporter Colette Bordelon visited the ranch to speak with both teams about the Aspen Aged Rye East Troublesome Fire Edition whiskey.
C Lazy U’s Mike Cullen and Jeremy Belnap provided a glimpse into the impact of the East Troublesome Fire on property, and Locke + Co.’s Rick Talley and Owen Locke shared the process of creating the ETF whiskey as well as highlighted that a portion of the whiskey’s sales benefit the first responders of the fire.
The segment aired following the Colorado Avalanche game last night on Denver7 News (watch here).

I'm still blissed out after our weekend at the ranch. Philip and I have traveled all over the state and truly, it was one of the best trips we've ever had. Thanks so much for extending the experience to us. Although ranch stays are trending and there are so many options in Colorado, I don't think I really understood the allure until visiting for myself. For one, I'm so glad we went in the wintertime. In chatting with the staff (who were all fabulous — service was a big stand-out feature), I got the impression that January-March is a quiet season. But man, are people missing out. We saw so much wildlife, enjoyed guided experiences with such intimate groups, and had a level of privacy I've never come across at an all-inclusive resort. The activities were abundant, the facilities and rental gear were high quality, and the food! The wine pairing dinner was an unexpected surprise and again, so intimate and enjoyable. The whole experience was such a treat. Thank you again. High praise all around. There's really so much to love about the destination.
