C Lazy U is included in Travel + Leisure’s 500 List. This is the magazine’s annual list of the top 500 hotels and resorts its readers love the most. As anticipated, a result of coordinating an interview with writer Meg Soyars in December, we’re pleased to share a Sky Hi-News feature story, “This local Colorado ranch helps forge a whiskey made from wildfire”, highlighting C Lazy U’s partnership with Locke + Co. The piece mentions the creative development behind the whiskey idea of using the property’s trees affected by the East Troublesome Fire, the donation component giving back to Grand Fire Protection District No. 1, and the process of making the whiskey.

The ranch is included in a Cowgirl Magazine piece about fly-fishing getaways. The piece, “Cowgirls On The Fly” positions C Lazy U’s Orvis endorsed fly-fishing program while highlighting its expert guides, quality equipment, commitment to environmental stewardship and upscale accommodations.
C Lazy U Ranch was featured in a television segment about family travel on Undiscovered America TV. Highlights include clips of the jingle, horseback riding, the cattle clinic, mountain biking, the Shodeo and evenings by the campfire.

Words cannot express our gratitude for the incredible experience we had at the ranch for Amanda and Ben's wedding this last weekend. Aside from the beauty of the ranch, fabulous accommodations, activities, delicious food and beverages, the ability of your staff to shift from the long-arranged Spring wedding plans to a Winter wonderland affair in a matter of hours was simply amazing. While we were appreciative of the warmth, friendliness and assistance provided by all of your staff, in particular I would like to give a shout out to both Henderson and Julia, who both went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and fun. I literally cannot wait for another opportunity to visit the ranch, and as a wedding professional myself, will recommend it to all my customers seeking a truly unique, joyful, fun-filled destination wedding.
