The C Lazy U Ranch entrance sign in November

Want to get out of town and maybe catch some early-season powder? Head up to C Lazy U Ranch for a November family getaway!  The Fall Kids’ Club is available during these dates, with counselor-led activities in morning and afternoon so the parents can have some adult time to do their activities. Then all meals are enjoyed together.

Join us for a rare 2-night minimum stay and enjoy gourmet food, luxury lodging, horseback riding and lots of ranch activities! Depending on the weather, you could enjoy snow tubing and cross-country skiing, but if there’s not enough snow, we still offer hiking and mountain biking! Riding out on the feedwagon to throw hay to the horses is a favorite activity for the whole family as well. During inclement weather, you can participate in archery and hatchet throwing in our heated indoor arena. We have lots to do in any season, and most of the activities are included in your package. Optionally you can visit our award-winning spa, go trap shooting or get a bird’s eye view of the ranch via the zipline.

This special won’t last, so book today!

For more than a hundred years we’ve been preserving the traditions of the American West, and part of that means working and playing hard throughout the snowy months in our own Colorado winter wonderland. …

From the Horse's Mouth

Natalie taught us how to ride horses; her instruction was clear, gentle, and kind. She taught us the similarities and differences between English and Western riding. We loved our time with the horses, but especially because Natalie helped us understand how to best interact with the horses. Natalie also helped us on the Feed Wagon ride, which was particularly special for us, because we got to feed horses, watch them eat, and watch them follow the feed wagon. Many thanks to Natalie for helping make this part of our stay magical.
