The March 2021 issue of Travel + Leisure includes the T+L 500 list of the top hotels in the world, which includes C Lazy U Ranch. The list is compiled based on the 2020 World’s Best Awards rankings and hotels are listed alphabetically and by region (not ranked).
Chrome Magazine published a story about Winter Riding Adventures and included C Lazy U Ranch! Tying in guest ranch history and noting the property’s four 2020 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, C Lazy U’s section is all about the playful wrangler hijinks that happen and how guests get a real kick out of it during their stay.
Sky-Hi News did a roundup of their most impactful, interesting and important stories of 2020. Since 2020 was a year like no other, there were many stories to include! But the way the community came together to help evacuate the horses and livestock from the ranch was deemed part of their Top 10. The story, supported by quotes from Marketing Director Brady Johnson, shares the beauty of a ranch vacation, highlighting the ability to escape crowded mountain towns, the all-inclusive nature and the authentic experience provided, specifically at C Lazy U Ranch. The story opens with a gorgeous image of a winter horseback ride at the ranch.
Sky-Hi News documented the impact that the East Troubleshome fire had on C Lazy U, and featured the ranch’s herd of 200 horses returning to the ranch from their evacuation site. The photo of the herd back home in their pasture is stunning!

C Lazy U was included in a Family Vacationist roundup, which highlights 12 of the best all-inclusive resorts for big families. Listed as No. 2 in the list, the piece highlights the variety of cabins offered on-property, noting their ability to accommodate large families. The piece also highlights the summer season, noting how kiddos spend the days with their counselors and adults have time to themselves, with the evenings concluding with nightly entertainment and s’mores by the campfire.
