We’re excited to share that C Lazy U Ranch is featured in the Winter 2025 issue of Colorado Meetings + Events in two distinct pieces highlighting the ranch as a premier destination for corporate retreats and adventure-focused gatherings.

In “Centennial State Team Building,” the story spotlights C Lazy U’s immersive group experiences, from fly-fishing, mountain biking, and zip-line courses to cattle-pushing clinics that foster teamwork and communication through authentic Western adventure. Also featured are the ranch’s “Amazing Race” team challenges, designed to strengthen collaboration and leadership in a fun, outdoor setting.

C Lazy U is also recognized in “Northern Charm in Grand County,” a digital feature celebrating the region’s adventurous group venues. The article highlights the ranch’s 8,500-acre setting, 8,000 square feet of functional event space, and dynamic mix of seasonal activities, from horseback riding to snowmobiling. It also showcases exclusive whiskey tastings with Locke + Co. Distilling and Peach Street Distillers, along with new amenities like the Trail Rider Saloon and Lazy You Hideaway.

With a print circulation of 132,000, the Colorado Meetings + Events feature showcases our commitment to delivering Colorado’s most unforgettable team-building and corporate retreat experiences, rooted in adventure, connection, and Western hospitality.

From the Horse's Mouth

I participated in the Julie Goodnight Clinic and loved every single minute. As a fairly new rider, I was worried that I would get overwhelmed or feel left behind, but instead I learned so much from instructors and participants. This experience was well beyond my expectations. I seriously have no complaints about course structure or content. I've already been using some of the skills I learned and my horses and I are more connected and I can tell my riding has improved 10x. Just can't say enough good things about Julie and her team. If the sessions were spread out to 5 days, I would be onboard because it was pretty intense (although I think it was exactly what I needed as a newer rider).
