Spring Horseback Riding: What to Expect

  • No horseback riding on check-in and check-out days.
  • Spring trail rides are walk-only for the safety of both horses and guests! If you are hoping to trot or lope on trails, we recommend visiting May–October, when trail riding is more active.
  • This event does not include cattle working. If you are interested in our Cattle Sorting Clinic, consider booking one of our week-long summer stays occurring mid-June to mid-August.

Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail with a basket full of eggs… and beer?

Come join us for Easter weekend – C Lazy U style! On Saturday we’ll host an Easter Egg Decorating Eggstravaganza for the whole family and yes, we’ll clean up the mess! On Easter Day we’ll have a very special Easter Egg Hunt for the kids, PLUS an Adult Beverages Hunt for the adults, followed by an Easter Parade.

As always, our chef will prepare our renowned farm-to-table gourmet meals, and you’ll have plenty to do in between! If there is snow, we have cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and a great tubing hill. We also offer complimentary shuttles to nearby ski resorts. Horseback riding, ranger tours, archery and hatchet-throwing are a few of the myriad activities available regardless of the weather.
