Summer Horseback Riding: What to Expect

• No horseback riding on check-in and check-out days.
• Trail rides in summer are walk, walk-trot and walk-trot-lope depending on trail conditions. Rides are always paced for the horse and rider with the least experience or ability.
• Yeehaw! This event includes the Cattle Sorting Clinic.

The adults are taking over the ranch! Our Adults-Only Getaways have been so popular that we’re adding another one in mid-August. You’ll enjoy the gorgeous late-summer weather in the Rockies with no kids around, plus all the activities you love: hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, or simply unwinding at the Lazy You Spa.

This special weekend also includes the Cattle Sorting Clinic, a chance to saddle up and join in authentic cattle work on the ranch. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure for you and the other adults on the ranch. Spend time reconnecting with your spouse, or treat yourself to long-overdue “me” time after a busy summer.
