Fall Horseback Riding: What to Expect
- No horseback riding on check-in and check-out days.
- Trail rides in fall are typically walk-only or walk-trot when conditions permit.
- This event does not include cattle working. If you are interested in our Cattle Sorting Clinic, consider booking one of our week-long summer stays occurring mid-June to mid-August.

Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, C Lazy U has an option perfect for you. All of our guests have access to a hot tub to keep them nice and toasty. Curl up next to the fire in one of our luxurious cabins and sip hot cocoa (or some whisky!) with your loved one after a long, fun day on the ranch.
Bundle up and go horseback riding on one of our beautiful mountain trails and admire the last of the season’s brilliant foliage. We are one of the premier horseback riding ranches in Colorado and are known for our beautiful trails and horses.
Please note that this stay takes place after our fly fishing season closes on October 15 due to freeze-up, so guided fly fishing will not be available during this event. There’s still plenty of adventure to be had — from riding, hiking and biking to relaxing by the fire, C Lazy U in mid-October is pure Rocky Mountain magic.
