May Horseback Riding: What to Expect
- No horseback riding on check-in and check-out days.
- In May, trail conditions determine whether trotting and/or loping is allowed. Wranglers will make the call for the safety of horses and guests.
- This event does not include cattle working. If you are interested in our Cattle Sorting Clinic, consider booking one of our week-long summer stays occurring mid-June to mid-August.

From May 10–13, trade your to-do list for a peaceful getaway surrounded by breathtaking scenery, fresh mountain air, and endless opportunities to relax, recharge, and reconnect.
Saddle up for scenic rides through blooming valleys, hike aspen groves bursting with new leaves, or test your aim at archery, hatchet throwing, or trap shooting. Craving a rush? Take on the ropes course or soar across the canyon on a zip line. Prefer to unwind? Cast a line in clear mountain water, linger in the spa, or toast the sunset with a crafted cocktail on the porch.
