Fall Horseback Riding: What to Expect

• No horseback riding on check-in and check-out days.
• Trail rides in fall are walk and walk-trot with the possibility of lope rides if conditions permit.
• Yeehaw! This event includes the Cattle Sorting Clinic. If you are interested in doing it again, consider booking one of our week-long summer stays.

Enjoy a 4-night cowgirl retreat at the C Lazy U Ranch! You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy horseback riding through the fall foliage with other like-minded women.

The retreat kicks off with the chance to mingle with our herd of 200 horses during a very special Horses & Happy Hour. Throughout the following days the schedule includes a spectacular horseback ride complete with a traditional western brunch on the trail, cattle pushing clinics, round pen clinics and arena riding clinics; and of course some free time so you can participate in many of the other ranch amenities of your choosing like hiking, mountain biking, trap shooting, Orvis endorsed fly fishing, and other outdoor activities. You may also indulge in the “Lazy You Spa” services when you’re not out on an adventure. We also will have a night of dancing with a live band! Cowgirls of all experience levels are welcome.
