During Winter, Spring and Fall the C Lazy U Ranch offers an optional Kid’s Club for guests who are staying on ranch. Parents can enroll their children in the morning or afternoon sessions, or both. Counselors entertain and supervise the children as they do age-appropriate activities geared toward making the most of Colorado’s seasons and whatever bounty nature provides while guests are staying. We designed it to be a flexible program that adapts to the weather and the ages of the children who are enrolled that day.
The main differences between the Kid’s Club and the Summer/Holiday Children’s Programs are:
Kid’s Club |
Children’s Program |
Signup required | Sign-up not necessary: the ranch plans for all children to participate |
All meals eaten together | Dinners eaten separately |
Families ride horses together | Adults and children ride separately except for the weekly family ride |
Kids age 3-5 who aren’t old enough to ride | Children grouped into 4 different age groups including teens age 13 -17 |
