Ropes Course & Zip Line

Check out the challenging (and fun!) ropes course and zip line at the C Lazy U Ranch. While enjoying your Colorado family vacation or horseback riding vacation, any time you’re not in the saddle can be spent doing other adventurous activities!

The Ropes Course has two levels, and the Zip Line is a favorite activity for both kids and grown ups. We use these activities for corporate team building exercises, but your family can benefit just as much from spending time exercising your muscles and working together in a true team-building environment.

  • Tandem Rock Wall: Designed to be our most basic of the four elements, 2 people climb at once.
  • Vertical Play Pen: Our most physically challenging element as every piece is free floating.
  • Spider Web
  • Log Bridge
  • Lava Boxes
  • Leap of Faith: Our most mentally challenging element: climb a 30 ft. pole in a full body harness and then jump off in hopes of catching a trapeze that hangs a few feet away.
  • Zip Line: Finish off your ropes course session with this thrilling activity or opt to do it by itself.

*There may be an additional charge for this activity for groups – Please refer to your group contract for more detail if you are traveling with a group.

From the Horse's Mouth

We loved chatting with the ranch hands and learning all about the history of C Lazy U. Special call out for Ally who was so friendly and showed us an excellent and adventurous ride all while making us feel welcome. Spencer's stories were fantastic and we appreciated him sharing his experiences all while having a great time exploring the trails. Franny was so helpful and attentive during the clinical sessions. I took lessons as a kid and never got so much one-on-one help with my posture and horsemanship. Though we were rusty, she made us feel so comfortable. We were both nervous but she put us immediately at ease. Thanks to the ranch hands for such a wonderful experience!
