Winter, Spring, Summer Fall...the C Lazy U has it all! You can enjoy perfect Colorado family vacations at our luxury guest ranch any time of year. From couples on their honeymoons to families on holiday, dude ranch vacations here offer something for everyone.

Schedule of the Seasons

Summer: June 1st Through September 1st - The C Lazy U is in full gear Colorado summer vacations with a 7-night minimum and a children's program. Book your horseback riding vacation today!

Fall: September 1st Through Thanksgiving  - The most beautiful time at the ranch...come see the leaves turn colors! Open for destination travel with a 2-night minimum. Group retreats, weddings and guided Colorado hunting vacations.

Holidays: Thanksgiving Through January 1st - Celebrate the holidays with the owners of the ranch! Thanksgiving time has a 3-night minimum, Christmas and New Years have a 5-night minimum.

Winter: January 2nd through March 31st - Open for destination travel with a 2-night minimum. Families, groups and weddings are welcome for Colorado winter getaways and ski vacations.

Spring: April 1st Through May 31st - Group retreats are our specialty in spring, but we are also open for family vacations or couples getaways, weddings, family reunions and early horseback riding vacations! The horses are rested and ready to go!

Over the long and rich course of our history, the C Lazy U was the only guest ranch in North America to attain both the celebrated Five-Diamond and Five-Star ratings. However, due to changes in the grading system that would require us to incorporate certain commercial aspects to maintain our status, we have opted out as a rated resort since we felt those did not complement our unique western atmosphere. We are proud of our five star legacy and continue to honor its exceptional standards with what we term five "spur" service.

A portion of this operation is conducted on the Arapahoe National Forest under a special use permit from the U. S. Bureau of Land Management and the U. S. Forest Service.
