A 5,500 acre mountain paradise tucked gently into the alpine wilderness near the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, SolVista is home to 33 family-friendly ski trails on two interconnected mountains with more than 40 kilometers of groomed nordic trails.

The Sol Vista ski area is comprised of two separate yet interconnected mountains. East Mountain's terrain is primarily beginner and intermediate, while West Mountain features intermediate and advanced terrain with limited beginner access. A separate learn-to-ski park features a surface lift for beginners.

The ranch provides complimentary shuttle service to and from Sol Vista. Ask the Ranch Concierge for more information on skiing at Sol Vista Resort.

Over the long and rich course of our history, the C Lazy U was the only guest ranch in North America to attain both the celebrated Five-Diamond and Five-Star ratings. However, due to changes in the grading system that would require us to incorporate certain commercial aspects to maintain our status, we have opted out as a rated resort since we felt those did not complement our unique western atmosphere. We are proud of our five star legacy and continue to honor its exceptional standards with what we term five "spur" service.

A portion of this operation is conducted on the Arapahoe National Forest under a special use permit from the U. S. Bureau of Land Management and the U. S. Forest Service.
