Enjoy ice skating on the pond all winter long. We even have a Zamboni machine to keep the surface of the ice smoooth for your ice skaing pleasure! Ice skating is a favorite with kids and adults alike. Skate during the day or enjoy a night skate with toasty hot chocolate and marshmallows. This activity is available anytime ice conditions permit. The Concierge will help you get set up with skates. All necessary equipment for on-ranch activities is provided for your convenience.

Over the long and rich course of our history, the C Lazy U was the only guest ranch in North America to attain both the celebrated Five-Diamond and Five-Star ratings. However, due to changes in the grading system that would require us to incorporate certain commercial aspects to maintain our status, we have opted out as a rated resort since we felt those did not complement our unique western atmosphere. We are proud of our five star legacy and continue to honor its exceptional standards with what we term five "spur" service.

A portion of this operation is conducted on the Arapahoe National Forest under a special use permit from the U. S. Bureau of Land Management and the U. S. Forest Service.
