C Lazy U Ranch partners wtih Grand Adventure Balloon Tours to bring you the “Get Carried Away” program where you dance with the wind in a colorful hot air balloon. Grand Adventure Balloon Tours caters to individuals, couples, families and large groups with a balloon fleet that comfortably carries up to 10 passengers per balloon. Their mountain flying experts are FAA Commercial pilots, ensuring a safe, quality flight. All flights are celebrated with a traditional champagne toast, a 200-year old tradition. Flights are available Monday through Sunday and follow the sunrise schedule. All ages can enjoy this unique experience for $250.00 per person. Refunds are given with 72 hours notice. Over the long and rich course of our history, the C Lazy U was the only guest ranch in North America to attain both the celebrated Five-Diamond and Five-Star ratings. However, due to changes in the grading system that would require us to incorporate certain commercial aspects to maintain our status, we have opted out as a rated resort since we felt those did not complement our unique western atmosphere. We are proud of our five star legacy and continue to honor its exceptional standards with what we term five "spur" service.

A portion of this operation is conducted on the Arapahoe National Forest under a special use permit from the U. S. Bureau of Land Management and the U. S. Forest Service.
