Winter Activities at C Lazy U
Colorado winter vacations are filled with endless fun outdoors. Our climate is perfect for enjoying all kinds of outdoor activities, from skiing to snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The C Lazy U Ranch is the perfect ski destination with skiing on our private mountain or by getting door-to-door shuttle service to Sol Vista and Winter Park ski resorts.
The C Lazy U also has a plethera of special activities unique to our Colorado winter resort. Once our pond freezes we groom it with a Zamboni and open it for ice skating and ice hockey games. Take a tour in the Snow Cat or hitch a ride up the mountain and ski back down. The driveway becomes an exciting luge run in the winter, and we also have the perfect snowtubing hill too. Snowmobiles are available for exploring our snow-draped acres, or get out there on snowshoes and cross-country skis.
And don't forget horseback riding! Our horses are sure-footed and willing to let you experience the beauty of a trail ride through snow-quiet woods where the wildlife munches on twigs and gives you the eye as you ride by.
All the equipment you might need to enjoy the ranch activities is provided for your convenience, so leave those clunky ice skates at home and come on out!
