The staff are all very kind and helpful. The management team does an amazing job of finding hard working, happy, eager to please young people.
The horses are so well cared for. This is the one area where the guests aren't always right - in a good way. If someone is treating a horse poorly, the wrangler staff will speak up in defense of their horses. They have a great educational program for beginners, and a great program for life long riders as well.
The ranch is a special spot for our family. One notable change was the photography provided on the ranch. Definitely not up to the caliber of Dale. Perhaps something to work on for next season, but that is really the only criticism I have. Keep up the good work.

I have been thinking about you guys and wanted to drop you a note. Recently I gave the kids a choice of going to Greece this summer or the Ranch. After no discussion, they independently chose the Ranch! Consequently we will be seeing you in August for our 10th year! I think by now we own a couple of horse and a cabin! Thad and I wish we had foresight, we would have been so much better off buying something many years ago at C Lazy U. Hope all is well for you all.

I met my best friend and husband of 28 years there. Whether you work there or play there, you are guaranteed treasured memories for ever.

The Pickard family just got back to Boston after our Colorado vacation. We ended at Steamboat but the best part for all was definitely at the C Lazy U at the beginning of the week. Everyone had a great time and we couldn't stop talking about it all week! Everyone there was so kind and attentive to everything we wanted. It won't be another 19 years before we come back again. Thank you to everyone at the ranch for a truly fabulous vacation!!!!!!

We just wanted to thank everyone for our best family vacation ever. The "Five Spur" service was just that. The kids and camp counselors were amazing with Johnathan and Danielle. The horse operation exceeded our expectations and the fishing was great. The food was outstanding (not for my diet!) but tasted great. Any issues that came up were dealt with quickly and professionally. Thanks again for a great experience and we can't wait to get back there next summer.

Just got back from the C Lazy U vacation and it was one of the best family vacations we have ever taken. We will be returning at least once a year (we already signed up for the winter and have a tip planned for October). We have two boys ages 5 & 7 who have little to no riding experience which was not a problem at all. There were days my oldest rode and there were days he didn't and it was all good. The service and friendliness of the staff (Kramer, Natalia, Jennings, & Anna in the dining room are lovely - give them all a "Hi y'all" for me, Nancy the bartender extraordinaire, Wranglers "Jules", Jess, Litezy, Tanna, Bill (the head honcho of the horses), and Leif (you must do the cow clinic with Leif - he is outstanding with horses) was amazing and I believe it all trickles down from the General Manager, Brian Gardner, who is about as nice as they get. The rooms are perfect for sleeping & the food is plentiful and good. The chef will make adjustments for dietary concerns and the sommelier Scott is uber-knowledgable. You don't need to get "dressed" for dinner but it is a bit more formal and clean compared to what you ride in. There are a myriad of activities (white water rafting, fly fishing, mountain biking, and hiking). I had one of the best massages ever with Jane at the "Lazy You Spa" and I heard that the facials and acupuncture were great. Again, don't miss the cow clinic. One of the best unexpected benefits were the friends we made. My horse group became very close and our dining room table came together the first day and did not change. We did not expect to meet such lovely friends, but believe that this was one of the best parts of the trip. There wasn't one bag egg to be found. If you get to ride "DJ" please know that he likes apples and to be scratched behind his left ear especially. Give him a kiss for me!
