Holidays at the C Lazy U
The C Lazy U welcomes families for the holidays! Go skiing cross-country or let us take you up Baldy Mountain on a Snow Cat and ski back down. We have shuttles that will take you to Sol Vista Ski Resort and Winter Park Ski Resorts. You can sled down the C Lazy U Luge or play hockey on the frozen pond. As always, there is horseback riding morning and afternoon and you can also ride in the heated indoor arena. We have entertainment nightly. Relax in the lodge, take a hot tub, or get a massage.
During Christmas week, we have Christmas trees available for delivery to every room and everyone joins in to decorate the tree in lodge. Santa will make a special visit to the ranch for Christmas and New Years Eve features a live band so you can dance the night away!
Thanksgiving Weekend
The Thanksgiving Weekend at C Lazy U is the special time of year when our owners and members gather together for good times and great food. It's a traditional time of year here at the Ranch, and in keeping with the rest of our traditions, the owners welcome guests to the table just as heartily as their families and neighbors. It's a time for celebrating family, catching up with old friends and making new friends...all here at the C Lazy U.
Christmas Week
C Lazy U Guest Ranch, in the heart of the Rocky Mountain West, returns to life's simple pleasures during the holidays: sleigh rides, sledding, and Christmas tree decorating with family and friends. Each of the ranch's elegantly rustic suites comes complete with a Christmas tree and decorations. The in-house gourmet chef prepares a complete Christmas dinner where each family is served a turkey to carve and all of the traditional fixings. Christmas carols are sung around the grand piano and crackling fire, while Santa pays a visit on a horse-drawn sleigh.
New Year's Eve
Bring in the New Year at our traditional western-swing dance; or tighten your scarf for torch-lit ice skating or a moonlight cross-country ski tour. Celebrate the midnight countdown and enjoy a live band.
